Active living awareness is a process aimed at informing, educating and encouraging individuals to adopt a more physically active lifestyle. This can involve different strategies and activities aimed at promoting health and well-being through physically active behaviors.

Information and education
Provide accurate information on the benefits of an active lifestyle, the health risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle, and recommendations for physical activity. For example, our information and education efforts include:

Sport promotion
Encourage participation in various physical activities such as walking, running, cycling, swimming, etc., according to individual preferences and physical abilities. In fact, BougeBouge organizes a wide range of accessible sports activities for the general public, to encourage people to get fit by taking part in sporting activities. These activities take different forms to reach different clienteles:

Creation of favorable systems
Promote the creation of physical, social and political environments that encourage and facilitate regular physical activity. This can be done through coaching programs, support groups, community initiatives, etc. For example, by creating running clubs in schools and communities, BougeBouge is committed to providing ongoing support to coaches and club members. Support is provided through education and the establishment of supportive structures in the various environments.
BougeBouge also encourages and supports its community through various initiatives and challenges, such as the Active Brigade. By educating the community and offering the resources needed to accomplish different projects and adopt different spheres of an active lifestyle, certain barriers and blockages are eradicated for individuals in the community.
