BougeBouge Wakefield covered bridge race

The BougeBouge Wakefield is the first edition of the collaboration between Wakefield in the area of the Municipality of La Pêche and BougeBouge to offer you a road and trail event! Discover the beautiful covered bridge and Gatineau Park on 3km, 5km, 10km or 21.1km courses. Afterwards, join in the festivities at the race site! Campfires, picnics, music… everything will be there!

BougeBouge is a non-profit organization founded and directed by two-time Olympian in triathlon Kathy Tremblay. The mission of our organization is to prevent the physical dropout of teenagers, young families and retirees by bringing together active living actors in the communities. All of our initiatives are based on the principle of self-determined motivations that put education, the need for autonomy, the development of a sense of competence and the need for social connection at the heart of its actions.

At the Municipality of La Pêche, we encourage our residents to take advantage of the Gatineau Park and the Covered Bridge. In partnership with BougeBouge, we are organizing BougeBouge Wakefield for the community with all fitness levels and ages in mind, with a 3 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21.1 km course. Bring your family and friends to walk or run the distance of your choice in Gatineau Park and discover the covered bridge!
