It is a non-profit organization founded and led by two-time Olympic triathlete Kathy Tremblay.

Our organization aims to prevent physical dropout among teenagers, young families, and retirees by bringing together people interested in active living in our communities.

All of our initiatives are based on the principle of self-motivations and centre on education, autonomy, the development of a sense of competence, and the need for social connection.

Bib Pick-up

The pick up of the bib number will take place on the morning of the race. Arrive 1 hour before your start time to prevent delays and to do your pre-race warm-up.


Bib number transfer policy

You can transfer a bib for free during the bib pick-up period, pending proof of payment of the ticket being exchanged.


Registration fee

  • Ticket prices: check the box office at the top of the page.
  • A platform fee of $2.95 +3% of the transaction as well as GST and QST, will be added to your order.
  • Online registration closes on the Thursday before the event.

Payment methods

  • New registrations can be paid by bank transfer during the number collection period only.
  • Online ticketing can be paid by Visa, Mastercard, or PayPal.

Cancellation Policy

  • Race tickets are non-refundable unless cancelled by BougeBouge. In this case, BougeBouge will refund the ticket price and the service fee charged at the time of purchase.

Included in registration

  • At the finish line, you will receive a finisher’s prize, which may vary depending on the season, and could be a cap, toque, bandana, key chain, t-shirt, etc. The organizers reserve the right to surprise the finishers with their prize at the end of the race.
  • Photographers will publish an album of the event on our Facebook page! Remember to like our Facebook page to be notified when we upload photos!

Please dispose of waste in the proper containers.

Do not throw garbage or masks on the ground during the event.

Bring your own water bottle to refill from the tap.

We work hard to ensure that all our events meet our environmental sustainability goals.

Locker room

No locker rooms are available. We recommend that you leave your belongings and equipment in your car or with  a trusted person.


Parking and public transit

Parking on campus is available at 90 Université private (LOT K)


Washrooms

There are restrooms located inside, near the starting point, in the Faculty of Social Sciences building (where the Première Moisson bakery is, at uOttawa) and in the Educational Services Research Center building.


Timing

SportStats will be in charge of timing for this event, with results available on this link.

Results will be classified by age category (U5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, … to 60+)


Water Station

There will be a water station at the finish line. Check the “MyMap” tab to see the location of the aid stations along the course.

We encourage you to bring your own water bottle and to fill it at one of our aid stations. There will be no water bottles given out at the finish line.


Course Certification

All our running events are certified by the Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme (FQA), with 10km, 21.1km, and 42.2km distances GOLD certified and marathons BQ (Boston Qualifier) certified events.
