BougeBouge Vaudreuil-Soulanges Series: NOTRE-DAME-DE-L'ÎLE-PERROT
BougeBouge Notre-Dame-de-l’Île-Perrot 2021! Take part in a 5km running competition on the weekend of July 17th and 18th!
Enjoy running with your family and friends in a safe way! See the sections below for the scenarios and measures that will be in place.

Choose your starting wave:
- Starts will be every 60 minutes for the 5K to allow time for participants to leave the course before the next wave starts.
- Your registration does NOT guarantee you the wave of your choice; when you purchase your ticket, you will be asked to fill out a form. In the event that you did not fill out the start form, it will also be emailed to you 1 minute after your purchase. If you did not receive it, please check your junk mail.
- The registration fee is $40.00
- A platform fee of $2.95 as well as GST and QST will be added to your order.
- Online registrations will close on Sunday, one week before the event.
- You can transfer your bib on site when you pick up your participant kit.
Cancellation and refund policy
- In the event that the event must be cancelled or held in an adapted manner, including a virtual race, for reasons beyond the control of the organizing committee such as weather or a pandemic situation including Covid-19 and/or any other case of force majeure, no refund will be possible.
Scenario A: Face-to-face race (code green, yellow and orange)
- Each start is designed to see a group of 12 people at a time, considering a code orange. In an option where the region is running in code yellow we will allow more participants per start. You will be assigned a start time based on the time you have scheduled at the time of registration. An official email will be sent to you one (1) week prior to your race start day. You must be at the start line no later than 15 minutes prior to the start.
Scenario B: Virtual race (Code Red)
- In the case of a code red, the participant will pick up his or her runner’s kit on the scheduled dates and will complete his or her challenge at the location of his or her choice on race day. You will need to fill out the OFFICIAL time form HERE in order to submit your time to sportstats to post your result.
We follow the recommendations of public health and the guidelines of the Quebec Athletic Federation. Here is an overview of the main measures:
- Mandatory hand disinfection at the entrance and exit of the site.
- When you pick up your bib, you will be asked to fill out a web form to verify that you do not have any symptoms of Covid-19. If you are positive, you will not be able to participate in the event.
- As soon as you arrive at the competition site, a mask must be worn at all times by all participants aged 10 years and older. The mask can be removed at the time of your departure by respecting the 2 m distance.
- The starts will be done in controlled groups. The maximum number of participants per group is set by public health.
- There will be several hand sanitizing stations on site and near the restrooms.
- A 2 m respect is required at all times.
- Spectators are NOT allowed on site in order to respect the sanitary measures and the maximum number of people on site.
- After the race, participants will be asked to leave the site quickly.
Bib pick-up:
Bib pickup will only take place 15-30 minutes before your race start.
- Be sure to validate your start on the SportStats platform at least one week before the event.
The participant’s kit
- Your bib number will be given to you at the BougeBouge booth near the start.
- Your choice of BougeBouge accessory, your finisher’s ribbon and your snack will be given to you at the finish line
We don’t offer a conventional medal, but rather an eco-friendly BougeBouge ribbon!
Timing :
- Gun start and manual timing Sports Stats (2021).
- Results will be by age category ( U5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29… up to 60+)
- All results will be posted on Sportstats
- In the case of a virtual event, each participant will have to fill out the form: Submission of results Sportstats BougeBouge 2021- Code Red
Course :
- Secured (volunteer service, police, cadet)
- Mile markers and signage on the course
- First aid service at the start and finish line
Water station
There will be no water stations on the course other than at the finish line. We suggest that you bring your own bottle if needed.
Toilets
An outdoor chemical toilet or access to a toilet block will be available at the start.
Eco-responsible instructions:
- Please put the waste in the right recycling bin.
- Do not throw waste or masks on the ground during your activity
- Bring your own water bottle for refilling at the tap
We are working hard to ensure that all our events meet our eco-friendly goals.
- This race is affiliated with the Quebec Track and Field Federation.
- It is forbidden to start with a dog.
