Energy in pictures
BougeBouge is a non-profit organization founded and directed by two-time triathlon Olympian Kathy Tremblay. The mission of our organization is to prevent teens, young families and retirees from dropping out of physical activity by bringing together people who are active in their communities. All our initiatives are based on the principle of self-determined motivations, which place education, the need for autonomy, the development of a sense of competence and the need for social connection at the heart of our actions.
At the City of Beaconsfield, we always encourage our residents to take advantage of our green spaces and waterfront to maintain an active lifestyle. In partnership with BougeBouge, we organize BougeBouge Beaconsfield for the community, taking into account all fitness levels and ages, with a 1 km, 2 km and 5 km course. Bring your family and friends to walk or run the distance of your choice in Centennial Park!
